Who Am i?
I’m Owen Schatz, I'm a passionate photographer and videographer with a love for capturing the emotions and energy of sports. I am a current freshman at Middletown high school, doing photography while also playing for Middletown lacrosse.
The start
It all started in fall of 2023 when my dad gave me his old camera. it was a camera released in 2009 and I loved using it during my brothers games, or just taking pictures around the house. eventually, he bought me a new camera. the Canon r100. This camera got me my first bookings and was the start of something big. Now, I have a Canon R7, and strive to get better every single day.
My Future
My future plans are pretty simple, I want to become a professional photographer, turning my love for photography into a career. I hope to work with sports teams, brands, and events that allow me to keep growing and learning. For me, photography isn’t just a job—it’s a way to connect with people and share stories I wouldn’t have the chance to without it. I’m ready to put in the work, build relationships, and turn my dreams into something real.
